Position Summary: Assists management team in overseeing basic restaurant operations and completing selected administrative requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet operational needs.
General
•Responsible and accountable at all times for operating in the best interest of Employer.
•Maintains a positive representation of Employer at all times including the name, integrity, culture, and concept of Chalkboard
•Consistently adheres to and enforces Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
•Responsible and accountable for restaurant opening and closing procedures,
•Responsible and accountable for financial closing procedures, to include but not limited to accurately completing all financial tasks.
Operations
•Ensures guests are positively impacted by fostering an environment focused on exceeding guest expectations.
•Follows and enforces Company control procedures to safeguard all assets including cash, equipment and inventory.
•Maintains compliance with federal and state laws and Company policy regarding sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
•Ensures guests are positively impacted by fostering an environment focused on exceeding guest expectations.
•Provides a safe guest and work environment to reduce risk of injury and accidents, including prompt completion of accident reports in the event a guest or employee is injured.
•Follows and enforces Company control procedures to safeguard all assets including cash, equipment, and inventory.
•Ensures all orders are coming out of kitchen in a timely manner.
•All plates are served with the correct quality and presentation.
Personnel
•Promptly reports high risk issues as appropriate to Executive Chef, General Manager or through other appropriate channels.
