Produce Procurement - Assistant

Position Overview:
Bozzuto's is looking for a Produce Sales & Merchandiser Assistant! This candidate must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.  Manage assigned retail customer accounts and assist in enhancing their business results. Ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining Bozzuto’s budgeted sales and profits. The individual must have ability to communicate effectively not only with customers, but within our organization including the Inside Sales Team, the Procurement Staff and Management.

Primary Functions:

• Understand and develop a complete work knowledge of the business systems required to be proficient in the job role – promote Bozzuto’s Produce and Floral programs to develop and improve warehouse sales.
• Professional and productive daily interaction with retail customers, vendors and company personnel.
• Handle multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner.
• Work closely with all levels within various departments.
• Persistent approach to resolving issues.
• Immediate and proactive actions to resolve and correct issues.
• Self-starter and have the ability to work under minimal guidance.
• Attend Bozzuto’s Inc. functions and industry events as needed. 
• Responsible for assigned customers and sales calls
• Responsible for data input in the AS400 system.
• Input customer orders and follow up shipments.  
• Communication with other departments when servicing your customer needs.
• Communicate effectively at all company levels, through verbal and written means.
