Dispatch-Day/Night Dispatcher 

12 hour shift
$16.00 per hour 

This is a non-supervisory position that involves process and traffic management of Western Dairy Transport loads in the operation area. This position has process ownership with internal and external customers that include customer invoicing, internal and external customer communications, driver trip processing, tmw, and audit functions. 

This position reports to both local Operations managers, as well as the Central Control Dispatch. The ideal candidate for this position will require being well organized, attention to detail. And excellent communication with drivers, customers, and management. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Excellent communication skills, to include verbal, and written. 

Computer proficiency 

Correctly, and accurately enters all load information into correct work sheets. 

Ensures drivers are following load assignments, to meet customer's needs, and business demand. 

Answer phone in a professional manner. 

QUALIFACATIONS 

Great oral and written communication skills. 

The ability to independently make accurate decisions and analyze risk. 

HS Diploma or equivalent.
