JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager of Accounting will supervise and participate in the monthly and quarterly financial close, SEC reporting, SOX control processes and reviews, and work closely with the internal and external auditors. This position is a dynamic role which will be involved in many different areas of the accounting, finance, and external reporting operations. This position is based in the Moorestown, NJ headquarters and reports to the Corporate Controller.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversees external SEC financial reporting process, including 10Q's, 10K's and 8K's, other financial reporting as required and other governmental statutory reporting.
• Manage other accounting personnel, including oversight of their professional development.
• Performs technical accounting research and documentation, as needed, including review of new customer contracts for determination of proper revenue recognition, capitalization of internally developed software, evaluating the impact of recent and proposed pronouncements on SEC reporting.

• Partner with the Financial Planning and Analysis team during the budgeting process and assist with trend analysis, including participation in management meetings to review results
• Participate in earnings release process including preparation of the quarterly management reporting package, preparation and analysis of support for investor relations as required, and review of financial information included in the earnings release and script.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley requirements are met for relevant areas through preparation or review of controls
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and key performance indicators to support the CFO, Investor Relations and provide useful insights in managing of the business.
• Identifies and participates in making operational or automated process improvements
• Work closely with the external and internal auditors
• Works as part of cross-functional teams to execute various special projects and transactions and preparation of ad hoc financial reporting.

Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.

EDUCATION:

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA required.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Minimum seven years of relevant experience
• Manager-level experience with one of the Big 4 audit firms required
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including technical accounting research, and SEC/financial reporting requirements for financial statements and footnotes
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to research and simplify complex situations
• Must be able to effectively manage and prioritize critical deadlines
• Maturity; ability to manage and develop team members
• Must be detail-oriented, have a proactive approach and the ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Ability to manage projects effectively and efficiently and provide leadership

• Experience using financial systems. NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Advanced experience in use of MS Office products, including MS Excel

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to successfully relate to people at all levels
