SH&E Manager

Objective of the position:

Ensure compliance with security strategies for all Bartlett Mexico operations in accordance with security protocols, processes and procedures.

What you’ll be doing:

• Establish and implement security strategies for all operations in Mexico aligned with corporate security protocols, processes and procedures.
• Develop and implement the Safety and Hygiene plan for the operations in Mexico based on local regulations and laws applicable to each Plant.
• Have Safety and Hygiene processes, procedures and protocols aligned with the United States security team.
• Be in charge of all inspections by government authorities.
• Carry out improvement plans based on Mexican regulations.
• Reinforce the commitment to safety as the first priority with all collaborators.
• Establish and implement training plans for all employees at all facilities.
• Carry out the management of contracts and suppliers for all the activities or projects of the Safety and Hygiene area coordinated with the purchasing area.
• Be in charge of all incidents or accidents in all our facilities in Mexico. Identifying root causes and developing improvement plans.
• Identify risks and develop plans and actions to minimize or eliminate them

Requirements of a successful SH&E Manager:

• 5+ years of experience
• Microsoft Office 365 (Excel and Outlook essential)
• Regulations of the STPS, SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, IMSS, SSA.
• Identification of work risks
• Mastery of OSHA and its application
• Ability to read, write and speak some English
• Ability to travel

Education:

• Higher education - Bachelor's degree
