 What the job is all about:  

  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts.
  • Iterating on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, incorporating usability best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with developers and engineers to establish technical requirements and ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining a user experience design guide for application across Ross Video’s broad product portfolio.
  • Conducting user research, including interviews and usability testing, to gather insights and inform the design process.
  • Establishing design processes and evangelizing best practices at Ross Video.
  • Performing a variety of other interesting duties.

 

Who you are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
  • You have proven experience as a UX designer or a similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • You have proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • You can quickly understand and work with technical requirements and industry-specified constraints.
  • You have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a keen interest in the latest advancements in UX design.

 

Bonus points if you have the following:

  • Knowledge of television, stage, film, or news production
  • Knowledge of frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
