Regulatory Coordinator (Nutrition Technical Services)

We are searching for a passionate and devoted Regulatory Coordinator to join our team! As a Regulatory Coordinator in our Nutrition Technical Services group, you are responsible for requesting and analyzing product ingredient documentation to ensure that they meet Food and Drug Administration requirements. You would also be tasked with updating our company database to reflect the allergen status of our products and coordinating with our Laboratory and Customer Service departments on various projects. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Request required documentation from raw material suppliers
• Review ingredient documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with Food and Drug Administration requirements
• Maintain company database for ingredient information
• Coordinate with Label Development team to provide allergen information on products
• Register ingredients with third parties for Kosher and Non-GMO certification
• Provide nutrition technical support in response to customer service inquiries
• Proofread labels and labeling for spelling and proper grammar

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Science, Biology, or related field is preferred
• Experience within a regulatory environment with focus on dietary supplements, foods, beverages or other FDA-regulated industry is a plus
• Knowledge of DHEA and other regulatory guidelines is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially excel
• Ability to multitask with precise detail and follow-up reporting

• Highly independent and self-motivated with the ability to perform well in a team setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Detail oriented with proficient data management skills
• Solution oriented and resolution focused
