Father Judge High School is seeking for a Full-Time Supervisor for our Brisson Center for Academic Excellence. Father Judge encourages and empowers the uniqueness of its young men to be active and engaged learners and provides an educational experience focused on faith and service. Father Judge High School respects the diversity of each student and provides a climate of academic excellence and college preparation within a safe environment. Rooted in the spirituality of our patron, Saint Francis de Sales, Father Judge High School educates the whole young man spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially in the Catholic Tradition.

The Brisson Center for Academic Excellence is designed to allow for flexible instruction to be given to multiple students, by multiple teachers, throughout the entirety of the school day. The Brisson Center has approximately 900 students a semester enters its doors for academic support. The Brisson Center currently houses our peer and Title I tutoring programs. The chosen candidate will be responsible for all areas of the Brisson Center of Academic Excellence and all the students that are housed within it.

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
•    Effective Google Suite usage required.
•    Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
•    Bachelor Degree or Above in Education preferred.

Responsibilities:
•    Responsible for the opening and closing of the Brisson Center for Academic Excellence daily.
•    Responsible for the development, monitoring, and supervision of the peer tutoring system housed in the Brisson center for Academic Excellence. This includes, but is not limited to, the digital requesting of tutors, sign-up sheet, assignment of tutors, and scheduling of tutors and tutoring services.
•    Responsible for the monitoring of all students in and out of the Brisson Center. This includes the generation and approval of passes for all students within the center.
•    Responsible for the logging of all parental and student contact made in regard to the tutoring program within the Brisson Center for later use as needed. This includes teachers or staff members who request information on students attendance.
•    Responsible for the contacting of parents about students who academically struggling and not attending their required tutoring sessions.
•    Responsible for working with the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs on identifying students who are at Academic Risk and contacting their parent/guardian about the services available to them in the Brisson Center.
•    Responsible for the housing of all Special Education paperwork for all students in the building who are not actively enrolled in the Crusader Program as well as working with the school Psychologist regarding students who need reevaluations or are receiving an evaluation.
•    Responsible for the updating completion of the ChildFind spreadsheet which is required yearly by the Office of Catholic Education and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
•    Work in conjunction with the school community to provide students with the most up to date information on summer job opportunities, current and upcoming union application deadlines, and career opportunities as made available. This includes the planning of visits to local Union trades and buildings as well as reaching out to local business and establishments for career opportunities for our students.
•    Responsible for the scheduling and reservations of the Brisson Center for usage by faculty and staff members. This includes outside agencies that require interviews with students for scholarship opportunities.
•    Responsible for the monthly inspection of the Brisson Center and alerting the administration about any issues, which include but are not limited to, flooring, HVAC system, lighting, tables, chairs, etc.
•    Submission of monthly reports to the administration on the current state of the program including board reports as needed or requested by the administration.
•    Other duties as requested and outlined by the principal.

Compensation Requirements:
Compensation and benefits packages are provided; exact compensation will vary based on experience and education in alignment with the Labor Management Agreement.
Pennsylvania clearances and safe environment training are required - explanation of clearances will be provided.
