SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Segra is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to support business operations and contribute to projects within the Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) department. The position works closely with functional leaders and collects data to present in an executive-friendly format. This position conducts analyses in various areas of the business and contributes in the areas of business planning, cash flow modeling, analysis, reporting, auditing, and ad-hoc FP&A projects as required.
The ideal candidate would have experience with the creation of business plan models for complex deals, at-risk capital projects, and expansion opportunities; coordination of weekly Deals Desk meetings and follow-up action items; business plan metrics reporting and analysis and some project management.
Other qualifications would include:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics preferred.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience preferred in related positions.
- Key Competencies:
- Ability to analyze results and translate them into relevant insights for leadership
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience with month end Financial Reporting and variance analysis
- Experience creating advanced charts and graphs for PPT presentations
- Strong data and financial modeling skills
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning tools (MS Dynamics etc)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with upper management
- Ability to work and thrive under time constraints and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong business acumen and the ability to work with cross-functional groups
