Since 1971, A New Leaf has faithfully worked in service to our mission of “Helping Families…Changing Lives,” making a positive impact in the lives of more than 24,000 people each year in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.  Services focus on HEALTH, HOUSING, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, offering a continuum of support to move households from crisis to long-term health and stability. A New Leaf continues to grow to respond to needs in our community by developing comprehensive, relevant and effective services for vulnerable and underserved families, children, and adults.

A New Leaf’s Faith House Crisis Shelter is a safe haven for people trying to escape a domestic violence situation. Survivors can recover from sexual assault and homelessness. As the longest operating domestic violence shelter in Arizona, Faith House has a long legacy of service to survivors in need.

With a home-like feel, the shelter always prioritizes safety and comfort. Security is a top priority, with staff working round the clock to protect survivors. The shelter is hosted at a confidential location with onsite security precautions and a gated entry. By providing a strong foundation, the shelter helps survivors find hope and healing as they move forward with the next chapter of their lives.
