SUMMARY

Grow, maintain, and enhance capacity within the Landstar network.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Manage a team of about 1-5 individuals to include training, scheduling work, performance appraisals, hiring, and firing

• Ensure service expectations are met
• Issue oral and written instructions
• Responsible for records maintenance including invoice record keeping
• Review and prepare department KPIs to ensure goals are being met
• Assign duties and reviews work of personnel and Qualification Centers for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures
• Adjust work expectations based on volume requests
• Handle after-hours calls for carrier setups
• Manage reports concerning department operations
• Other duties as assigned

• Up to 5% travel required for truck shows

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or 8 years of equivalent experience
• One to three years of management experience required
