What work will I perform at Landstar?

The Ops Solutions Coordinator is a problem-solving role. A coordinator is instrumental to proper integration and improvement of business-to-business relationships with agents and customers alike. They focus on ensuring compliance to customer requirements, troubleshooting status updates with agents, and 3PL compliance. Working directly with information technology (IT) staff and external customers, coordinators ensure that EDI programing has all of the information they need to work, and that the work is getting done in a timely manner as well. This is a highly technical position requiring daily coordination and communication between internal and external parties to support account compliance and ensure smooth operations.

Experience needed for the role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extreme analytical ability
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers in a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Cognos and iSeries query
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access
  • Advanced Excel skills

What you need to bring to Landstar

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Three to five years of EDI experience required
  • Knowledge of transportation industry is preferred
