Kindeva Drug Delivery

To lead a safe and effective operation and continuous development of the Inhalation and Transdermal Manufacturing departments in line with GMP and site procedures. To ensure current and future customer needs and Kindeva goals are met.

 

The role has significant leadership responsibilities in leading a 24-hour production operation along with strong links to other key functions. The strategic direction for IDD and TDD Manufacturing also includes leadership for investment in new equipment as well as managing the current equipment to deliver current capacity. Working as a key leader and stakeholder in a cross functional team to deliver capital projects for investments in the future.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure production team meets or exceeds daily output target.
  • Directly supervise three shift supervisors.
  • Maintains a safe working environment for all workers, contractors and visitors.
  • Ensures safe working practices and procedures are defined and adhered to with risk assessments, audits and training conducted as required within the team.
  • Develops and audits metrics for the groups performance that roll up to ensure delivery of customer aligned KPIs.
  • Drive team adherence and improvement to GMP standards.
  • Lead the group through appropriate performance and financial measures, optimizing people, materials and equipment to achieve the production plan at optimum cost.
  • Promotes continuous improvement, constantly improving customer responsiveness and RFT whilst reducing both cost and all inventory associated with Production.
  • Drives teamwork and personal development to enable the workforce to plan, do and evaluate their contribution towards the team’s goals.
  • Champions active leadership within the group in order to promote open communication and engagement.
  • Creates a “can do” team through inspirational coaching and leadership development.
  • Ensure employees uphold Kindeva people policies and ethical behaviors.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of flexibility within the Production and Supervisory teams to allow responsiveness to customer and Kindeva requirements.

This job also requires performing other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  •   Computer literate in Word and Excel
  •       Strong communication skills to Management and Operator levels
  •   Leadership experience 
  •       Process knowledge
  •       Strong performance 
  •       Ability to coach employees
  •      Problem solving \ decision making
