IT Security Manager
KI is seeking an IT Security Manager to join our team based out of our Corporate Office in Green Bay, WI.
The IT Security Manager partners with IT and organizational leadership to continuously improve cybersecurity posture, while supporting business strategy. This position is responsible for leading IT Security team members, as well as developing and delivering Cyber security policy and standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure information system security across all KI locations. Additionally, this position is responsible for implementing procedures and methods for auditing, reporting, and addressing non-compliance to IT security standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage Cybersecurity related projects and tasks, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
• Implement and oversee upgrades, improvements, and major changes to the information security environment.
• Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and improvements.
• Monitor computer networks for potential security issues and investigate incidents.
• Design, implement, and maintain KI’s Cybersecurity program.
• Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices for the organization.
• Oversee information security audits, whether by performed by organization or third-party personnel.
• Provide input to the Cybersecurity Steering Committee, CIO, and other organizational leadership, on potential security initiatives and risks.
• Research the latest information technology security trends.
• Create, monitor, and continuously improve information security program metrics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7 years of relevant experience required
• Leadership experience is a plus
• CISSP, CISM, or GIAC desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management.
• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.
• Practical experience with security-related systems and applications.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and administrative tools.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP and network administration protocols.
• Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining security procedures.
