Government Account Manager
OEI is a division of KI which is responsible for selling and promoting contract office furniture solutions for UNICOR to the Federal Government. Currently, we have an opening for a field sales representative that will work out of their home office covering assigned accounts in the Washington DC metro area including Northern Virginia and Maryland.
In this position, you will be selling directly to Federal Government end users and purchasing staff. Utilizing a consultative sales approach, you will be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, effectively presenting to large groups and generating new business leads. Required travel within the territory is approximately 75%.
This position offers a base salary plus commission, a car allowance, reimbursable travel expenses and an excellent benefits program! Knowledge and experience in the office furniture industry is desired but not required. The ideal candidate must be able to grasp new concepts quickly, be highly motivated to succeed and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
