ABOUT THE JOB
Through our nationally recognized Child Development Center (CDC), we offer protective, supportive and nurturing programs which help young children through those of elementary school age. Children may have a range of behavioral, developmental, and emotional difficulties.
 
The nursery provides a highly structured, small group classroom for children ages 3-5, focusing on developmental delays in communication, social responsiveness, play skills, motor development, sensory processing, and attention and learning deficits. 
 
The 1:1 Para Teacher Assistant is assigned to an individual student mandated by the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) to receive 1:1 assistance/supervision throughout the school day to meet the child’s individual behavior management needs and keep them safe

TO QUALIFY
The Jewish Board is currently looking for talented professionals of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:
  • High School diploma and preschool special education experience.
  • Student in related course of study is preferred.
