Sr. Product Manager

Iteris is looking for a Sr. Product Manager who wants to make transportation safer, greener, and more efficient. You will be responsible for Iteris’ intersection solutions, which power intelligence at thousands of traffic signals across North America.

What you will be doing:

• Become an expert on our customers and their needs
• Collaborate with leadership on the product vision and strategy
• Translate strategy into a compelling roadmap that you will own, update, and communicate to stakeholders and customers
• Create and present compelling business cases for new products and product enhancements that deliver on your vision
• Translate roadmap into prioritized product backlog
• Work with data science, software, and hardware teams to execute initiatives from ideation to launch
• Work with sales, marketing, business development, and leadership on go-to-market strategy and execution
• Define product goals and track and report product performance metrics

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Information Systems or related field
• 5+ years of experience in product management
• Experience managing SaaS products required
• Exposure to hardware product management preferred
• Experience with transportation data and/or technology preferred
• Background in data analytics/data science preferred
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Aha preferred
• Experience with AWS Cloud preferred
• Experience with APIs/microservices preferred
• Experience working as part of an agile product development team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter and team player
