Podcast Content Executive Producer
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the podcast industry, be well versed in the technical aspects of podcasting, as well as effectively lead and develop a team of creatives. The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in casting a vision, finding talent, and have a proven track record of producing successful shows that have garnered a loyal following.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees the production of multiple podcasts from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality content, timely delivery, and adherence to budget and schedule
Develops and executes the overall creative vision for podcast network, working cross-functionally with other stakeholder teams to align on ministry goals and objectives
Manages a creative team of producers, editors, and hosts, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed
Fosters a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence
Conducts ongoing research and analysis to stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Collaborates with internal teams to identify new opportunities for growth, new audiences, and revenue opportunities
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs other duties, including but not limited to duties as assigned, some of which may include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g., printed pieces, voice work, photography, video, music, etc.) for distribution in any and all media and formats (such as television, radio, internet, DVD and digital) on a world-wide basis, all of which will be for the benefit of Focus on the Family
Managerial Breadth/Scope of Job:
Hires, coaches, manages, and nurtures a team of producers and editors who create, record, and edit multiple podcasts

Personal Characteristics:
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as media production, journalism, or communications
7-10 years of experience in podcast production, with a track record of producing successful shows
Strong management and leadership skills, with experience managing a creative team of producers, editors, and hosts
Deep knowledge of the podcast industry, including content trends, audience behaviors, and audience engagement strategies
Proven ability to develop and execute a creative vision, with a focus on innovation and audience engagement
Familiarity with audio production software and equipment, as well as content management systems and analytics platforms
Skills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making with the ability to seek high-quality information quickly, synthesize viewpoints, provide ideas and solutions, and interact effectively with senior leaders
Outstanding writing/editing skills
A personal, well-mannered, humble, and engaging temperament is critical
Must be a team player and have a collaborative personality
Salary Range: $89,436 to $102,957/yr.
