The Business Development Coordinator supports business activities for Wholesale and Commercial direct- served fuel customers and Lease activity related to Fikes Real Estate Holdings. This position maintains legal documents including Supply Contracts and records all financial activity related to Leases. To provide critical financial metrics to General Manager for analysis and action. Acts as key position for input and development of new business opportunities and supports General Manager by assisting with special projects as needed.

Wholesale/Commercial:

  • Maintains database of relevant data including entity, contract execution date, margin, and duration.
  • Maintains Monthly Volume spreadsheet for analysis and up-line reporting.
  • Maintains library of standard Fuel Supply Agreements, Personal Guaranties, and Deeds of Trust.
  • Monthly input of volumes for refiner specific rebate programs via web-based sites.
  • Provides input on development of new markets/classes of trade.
  • Maintains customer files.
  • Assists in distribution of prices to commercial customers.

Lease Activities:  

  • Maintains database of relevant data including entity, lease date, terms, and duration
  • Provides market analysis and makes recommendations to maximize return on real estate assets.
  • Accurately logs rent/other payments into ERP.
  • Prepare leases, amendments, and other documents in accordance with guidelines and policies and to insure completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain current, efficient, and accurate filing system for easy retrieval and tracking of lease documents.
  • Monitors, tracks, and reports on critical dates in the Real Estate Database to management. Identifies leasing issues and acts up or, informs Account Manager.
  • Review leases/subleases for all pertinent information necessary for tracking and managing.
  • Prepares and distributes reports for General Manager and Account Managers, as needed.
  • Establishes relationships with internal departments to address and resolve any leasing issues.
  • Assist Account Manager with all aspects of leasing vacant lease space to new tenants.

Qualifications:

3+ years in a similar role, intermediate skills in MS Office Suite, and basic accounting knowledge, working knowledge of lease and fuel-related platforms; experience performing analytical work with medium to large sets of data, strong attention to detail; must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects; possess professional communication skills – both written and verbal; possess excellent organization and time management skills, and be able to interact with all levels in an organization
