Manager - Fuel (Sales)

The Manager - Fuel (Sales) provides strategic leadership for our Wholesale Fuels operation including branded dealers, unbranded dealers, commercial, and government accounts. The primary focus of this role is personnel development, organic and M&A growth, and P&L accountability.

General Responsibilities:

• Drives the company to achieve and surpass budgeted sales, profitability, and business goals.
• Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies including Branded Dealer NTIs and conversions, Commercial growth, Governmental/Municipal/Educational bid growth, and Wholesale M&A.
• Motivates and leads a high-performance management team; attracts recruits and retains members of the wholesale team.
• Collaborates with the executive management team to develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.
• Directs information management, budgeting, strategic and tactical planning, and innovation. Manages operational and capital budgets.
• Demonstrates solid project management, operational skills, and technical knowledge.
• Directs property management activity for all tenants and vacant property marketing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years’ experience leading high performing team in Wholesale Fuel environment; must have successful career progression in complex organizations; possess a strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility; solve problems quickly and communicate clearly; must be an innovative leader; must have a demonstrated track record of success in driving business initiatives; must have extensive oil & gas, transportation of petroleum products, and sales.
