JOB TITLE:            Cleaning Associate (Part-Time)


DEPARTMENT:      Ecology
 

 

This is a full-time position located in the Ecology Department with variable/flexible working hours to include weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, overtime and special events as required. Eligible to enroll in benefits after 60 days of employment. Rate of pay for this position is $15.00 per hour. Benefits include the following: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance; Company paid premiums for Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance; 401K matching;  Paid Time Off and Vacation time; Pay-On-Demand feature through the payroll system for hours worked.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:   Under the supervision of the Ecology Supervisor and  Ecology Leads:

Provide the cleanliness of the buildings, parking lots and outside areas.

Duties include but are not limited to: emptying trash, mopping and sweeping/vacuuming floors, cleaning restrooms and cleaning windows.

Assist with the preparation, set-up and break-down of special events and parties.

Assist guest with their needs and provide excellent guest service.

Other duties as assigned.
 
 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:  Demonstrated experience working in a related position involving cleaning tasks; ability to cope with extremely heavy workload; excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and on the telephone are essential; ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality; ability to deal successful with a wide range of people; ability to work under pressure of deadlines and competing needs; skill in the care and use of tools and equipment; knowledge of use of chemicals.
 
 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to stoop, walk, and stand for long periods; ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs; speak clearly and distinctly.
 
 

 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:  No smoking or eating in the work area, uniform is required.
 
 

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Work flexible hours, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required; ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
