Job Summary:

The Cordia Pittsburgh team is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support maintenance initiatives at sites throughout the region.  Reporting to the regional project manager, the maintenance planner/scheduler is responsible for the safe and efficient planning and scheduling of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for the Pittsburgh area plants.

Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Areas:

  • Create and manage weekly maintenance schedules across multiple facilities
  • Coordinate the planning process by reviewing work orders with the appropriate plant managers and maintenance leads to prioritize work based on business needs
  • Utilize technical manuals, design drawings, operating manuals, manufacturer data, and equipment history records to develop maintenance procedures
  • Create materials lists and support cost development and purchasing for future projects
  • Continuously improve the CMMS (Fiix) to track schedule adherence, improve asset & spare parts lists, and improve quality of work tasks
  • Establish and validate manpower requirements for recurring maintenance work using plant history and craftsman knowledge
  • Recommending improved practices, methods, and procedures to increase safety, efficiency, and quality of maintenance work
  • Maintain historical records in the CMMS and provide report out of key performance indicators
  • Support training of technicians and plant managers on the maintenance planning process
  • Additional projects/duties as required

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an operations or maintenance environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge or ability to learn computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Willingness to lead and train others to increase the maintenance planning skillset throughout the organization
  • Strong background in computer-based programs including the Microsoft Suite as well as project scheduling tools
  • Knowledge or ability to learn CMMS (Fiix) computer program. 
  • Comfortable working across multiples facilities and coordinating with key stakeholders
  • Ability to coordinate numerous projects or activities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, construction management, etc.)
  • Five (5) years of experience in an operations or maintenance environment
  • Experience in creating a preventative maintenance program
  • Fiix maintenance management program and/or NetSuite experience
