Manager of Investments

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, mission-driven individual with prior experience to lead our strategic efforts to finance distributed generation assets working at Cordia. You will develop the creative financing solutions we need to scale the business as being the equity provider and long-term holder of low to no carbon distributed generation assets in North America/Canada. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Development and work closely with existing financial operations. Together with leadership, you will be responsible for defining and executing our financial strategy to act as the long-term equity balance sheet to smaller companies, OEM’s & developers amongst others.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY RESULTS

● Deploy debt, equity, and tax equity to support acquisition of projects as we scale as a business to hit EBITDA targets

● Leverage robust financial models and work closely with operational finance to refine the business, accelerate growth, and set company objectives.

● Build deep relationships with partners and investors to generate value for all parties.

● Lead the sourcing of deal flow by extending our balance sheet and creating strategic partnerships to acquire & develop

● Prepare high-impact investor, board, and partnership materials.

● Contribute to key strategic decisions for company growth, strategy, and financial product improvements.

● Contribute to government-based financing opportunities as they exist to support the asset class in 50 states

●Leverage the inflation reduction act changes in the marketplace to assist development of assets

● Leverage all local available incentives for the development of projects by staying up to date on the various regulatory changes occurring across the energy infrastructure in the US
 

Knowledge and Skills

• MBA preferred
• Deep technical experience in financial modeling, project finance, and financial strategy
• Debt capital markets & Tax Equity experience
