Special Projects - Housekeeping $19.00 per hour

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

1.                  Responsible for the heavy cleaning of the entire casino, that requires using ladders and mechanical lifts.

2.                  Maintenance of upper level portion of casino.  Vents, lights, chandeliers. 

3.                  Assists in special events, tournaments, banquets, and promotions.

4.                  Cleans hallways, employee lounges, casino floor, using brooms, mops, and power cleaning equipment.

5.                  Cleans and sanitizes all restrooms.

6.                  Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, using brooms, mops and power cleaning equipment.

7.                  Washes walls and windows as necessary.

8.                  Follow daily cleaning schedules. 

9.                  Empties trash into large central receptacle, transports trash and waste to disposal area.

10.              Replenishes restrooms supplies as needed from storage.

11.              Cleans chairs and other upholstered furniture using cleaning equipment.

12.              Cleans casino parking lots.

13.              Performs all other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required:  Two years housekeeping / maintenance experience preferred.

Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Other Requirements:  Must be able to speak and understand English.  Knowledge of general safety procedures as per company policy.  Ability to lift a maximum of

Twenty-five (25) pounds, up to five (5) times per week and push a maximum of  seventy five (75) pounds for various job related duties, up to five (5) times per week per eight (8) hour shift.  Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all tasks assigned.  Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.  Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
