LMR Technician

As the LMR Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, alignment and maintenance of the analog and digital trunked radio communications systems.  Verification that all required system features are operational on the radios and systems.  In the event there is defective equipment with the system or radios proper coordination with the LMR technician and the government will be required to ship the components to the OEM for repair.
 
Highlights of Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily customer service, troubleshooting, and programming for all infrastructure and subscriber equipment
  • Oversee base communication backbone network
  • Train end users on LMR system
  • Loading encryption keys
  • Program all radio equipment
  • Perform software patches to the system
  • Maintain and upkeep LMR facilities
Candidate Requirements:
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Motorola Radio and Systems Training
  • MS Office Suite Proficient
  • Experience with Key variable Loader 4000
