GC&E Systems is seeking a Senior Network Support Technician on Fort Campbell to provide the following:

The candidate for this position will work within our team to support our government Information Technology (IT) program with our Fort Campbell client. As Desktop Support you will work to ensure successful operations of the Information and Infrastructure systems for Fort Campbell.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

Perform tasks related to the implementation, administration, and support of MS Windows (Win) OS, including installation, software distribution, and implementation on client systems supported by the NEC.
Provide troubleshooting support for software and hardware.
Provide support for the administration of remote access systems.
Provide minimal troubleshooting and installation support for desktop computer connectivity.
Provide service desk services including service desk and product support for COTS hardware and software, network support, repair service, including those dedicated to single applications and providing broad support for networks and desktop services.
Monitor work orders and trouble tickets for status and compliance with established timeframes for work performance.
Sort and route work orders and trouble tickets to the proper teams, assure customer information is correct.

Physical Requirements

Predominantly indoors in normal office environment
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach
Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time
Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
Must have visual acuity
Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds
