The Arc Erie County is looking for a Residential Behavior Intervention Specialist II!

Who we are:   A local non-profit organization that supports children & adults with disabilities and their families in achieving their desired quality of life by creating opportunities through comprehensive quality services!
 

What you’ll be doing: As our Residential Behavior Intervention Specialist II, you will be assisting with the behavioral services provided to the individuals within the Residential Programs.
 

You will be responsible for…

• Assessing, developing, and monitoring behavior support plans
• Intervenes w/ individuals’ inappropriate and/or potentially injurious behaviors in the least restrictive manner possible
• Assuring individuals’ overall safety through maintaining safety standards, familiarity with emergency safety procedures & providing regular training to individuals

What we need from you:

Master’s Degree in Psychology or related course of study and two (2) years exp. working with the developmentally disabled or similar population, of which one (1) year must be in managing individuals with problem behaviors.
