1:1 Teacher Assistant

The Arc Erie County is currently seeking 1:1 Teacher Assistant’s for its Educational programs located throughout Western New York.  Why Achieve with The Arc Erie County?  Becoming a 1:1 Teacher Assistant for us means:
 

ü Work with students individually and in small groups in order to carry out activities that fulfill stated objectives as outlined on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  

ü Attend meetings, including multi-disciplinary staff meetings and in-service training meetings
 

ü Maintain regular communication with classroom teacher regarding progress and needs of each student
 

ü Assists in documenting students’ progress toward goals and objectives.
 

We currently have both Full Time & Part Time positions available.  Teacher Assistant positions begin at $17.00 per hour.

All candidates must have a H.S. or equivalent diploma.   Teacher Assistant experience preferred.
