External Maintenance Worker II Full-Time - $1,500 Sign On Bonus

PURPOSE: This position is mainly accountable for the maintenance and cleanliness of the exterior areas of the facility. To ensure guests to Mall of America have a positive shopping and entertainment experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid Driver's License

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Performs a variety of tasks to maintain and repair Mall of America property
• Sweeps, cleans, picks up trash and power washes in all exterior areas.
• Performs maintenance duties of the exterior of the property including, but not limited to snow removal, sign repairs and minor surface repairs.
• Empties ash and trash containers
• Provides direction and assistance to mall guests when asked
• Provides support and assistance to team members and other departments as requested
• Provide a unique and positive experience for all internal and external guests as part of the "Make Someone Happy Today" culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work variable and/or rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
• Ability to understand simple verbal and/or written instructions
• Ability to perform some or all of the physical tasks involved in lifting, driving, sweeping, mowing and related exterior custodial/maintenance duties
