ATM Sales - Account Manager
Job Overview
Account Manager position is responsible for handling customer accounts for Advance Traffic Markings within an assigned territory. The Account Manager must build and maintain strong relationships. They will be the lead point of contact for all customer matters, anticipate needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines are met, and help the customer succeed. The account manager will also bring in new business from existing accounts and will develop relationships with new accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between customers and company
- Resolving issues and complaints
- Develop a complete understanding of account needs
- Develop a complete understanding of market dynamics
- Anticipating account changes and improvements
- Managing communications between customers and internal teams
- Strategic planning to improve customer results
- Negotiating contracts with the customer and establishing a timeline of performance
- Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members
- Meeting all needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyzing data to provide customer relationship management
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new customers Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess strong leadership and managerial skills
- Able to train small groups on proper procedures
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Intermediate computer skills, and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

- Able to analyze data, sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
Education and Experience
- Successful sales history with two + years outside sales experience (Pavement Marking Industry experience preferred)
- High school diploma required
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products as well as software like streaming video conference, expense reconciliation, and self-travel booking, etc.
Working Conditions
- Remote home office setting when not traveling
- Roadway / highway setting most times when traveling
- Main office visits quarterly
- Travel up to 50% (In season can be more often) to visit customers and or job sites
- Ability to travel on short notice or extend stays with little advance notice
- Understanding the occasional weekend travel may be required for specific jobs to be completed
- Ability to showcase proper install / removal of our products on actual job sites
- Some road work may occur during the evening and or overnight hours
